what is the name of this 3 ways valve which is places just outside the water pump ?
and is there a special position to install it ?
is there one way-in to respect ?
I need to modify the routes of the 3 hoses due to the new position of my alternator, and I don't want to cause any trouble.
thanks in advance

3 ways coolant valve ?
Re: 3 ways coolant valve ?
thank you !
yes it does help very much !
this video is a mine for me.
first it shows the complete set of hoses that I need.
then I can see between sec 0.07 to 0.10 the complete view of the engine.
I see two interesting details :
1) at the bottom letf of the image, I can see two bolts behind the lower hose.
I assume there goes the bracket for the alternator when it is on the right side of the engine.
mine is a homemade braket, but it is rough and leads to a misalignment of the alternator, that I want to change this.
is this bracket available from the vendors ?
2) on the left side, the tensioneer pulley looks like the one on my car.
It's different from the ones I purchased recently.
I can see the circlip on the front, which is not on the new one, and it seems bigger than the new one.
All the local vendors tell this pulley should be 67 mm, but the old one was 70 mm, and the one on the movie seems to be that large.
Who could confirm the normal size of this pulley for a 2l engine ?
thanks again.

On my 80, those hole were where the AC compressor was mounted. I wouldnt worry so much about the size of the tensioner bearing as long as you are getting pressure on the timing belt.

I open a new topic for the mounting bracket questions.
