Incontinent Diff
The garage floor has been dry for years, not more than a drop or two per month from the engine, transmission and diff. I haven't driven the car for 2 weeks. Last weekend I rolled it forward to do something in the garage, and it was still dry underneath. I looked today and saw a finger of fresh oil on the floor peeking out from under the side of the car. Looked under and it went all the way back to the diff, probably 100 ml or more, dripping down from the casing (but not the drain plug). I guess it's the front seal, but I'm wondering how the heck a car that has not been moved can spontaneously drop its diff oil Bad mood? Sneezed?
