My 1978 has a dizzy without vacuum advance, was this standard for that 1978?
My spider is a California car with a build date of 01-78, it's windows are 1977 and has chassis # 124CS10134744. That would be
build # 8743 for 1978, which makes it 1/2 way through the 1978 build year. It had a full complement of emissions equipment:
air pump, EGR valving & etc, the cat looks like it was added after it was built. Do I assume that:
1. The cat was added in Calif
2. Since the windows are 1977 that other components were from 1977.
