I have an 85 with a digital clock. Does the clock stay on all the time? I know I should know this, but is the clock connected to an "always on" fuse? It has become disconnected.

Hello I just aquired a 1984 Pinanfarina with a square digital clock in the center consol. I dont thing the clock is working correctly. Of course I may not be setting it correctly, also it apears to be in military 24 hour time. At any rate I was thinking of repalcing with a round analog one, of course I will have to modify the panel. Speaking of which, can somebody with knowledge of the center consol on these cars know if I have to remove the whole panel to remove the clock or other instraments? I was thinking of prying them out but I dont want to damage anything. I was thinking there may be retaining clips.
Any advise would be appreciated.

The clock pup up and you have a screw on the top that hold the panel to the dash.
I also have a square clock if you need one.
