This is what it currently looks like. I'm getting some body work done and repainted with proper paint. The current paint job was pretty amateurish and for some god awful reason they used acrylic paint. Looks good from far, but far from good. By the end of the month I'll be able to put some before during and after pic's up.

if it weren't for previous owner screw ups, what would we have to complain about?

I dont know about the paint job ,but I really like the scheme. The black treatment on the hood bumps and rear deck are really different. Are you changing the scheme also ? Craig

no, I'm sticking with the scheme but done more professionally. The paint job is dubbed "the bullet". I know there are purists who even say that a clearcoat is not "original" but after going and seeing about 20 spiders before deciding on this one, I found that the paint job was what attracted me the most. I'll post some pictures in a couple of weeks at different angles.. the one above is an odd top down picture from the original owner.

The painter I am currently using also owns a spider and he's done some major weird stuff in his. an S2000 motor, seats from an MR2, if you can believe it... Lambo doors, bright orange and molded plastic orange dash and console with a sub in the back. In my opinion that's too far. Talk about pimp my ride......

yes, I've posted more pic's of the proces in the cosmetics section.

I can't wait to get it outside in some proper light for better pic's.... unfortunatley there's still a lot of snow and a pretty nasty thaw coming over the next week.

ah well... I have to wait I guess.
