Hi
I just registered. I hope to be buying myself a Fiat Spider as a Christmas present shortly. I had one in the 80s that I loved. Nice to see there is an active community.

yeah, and I'd read the title very carefully. Coincidentally, my name (ALONE) is on the Fiat, so when Beth leaves me because I spend so much time on the car (i jest, really) and tries to sell it off cheaply JUST to get back at me, you guys will know the truth!!!!

LOL - - my wife and i went together to the Michigan DMV to register, title transfer and plate her Spider....cuz when she went alone they were giving her a buncha crap about an erroneous regulation.

Well, I was better able to explain the problem with the regulation to a clerk that was better at listening to the customer and the problems went away.

Now it is time for filling in the forms and providing personal identification. har-har-har...my wife forgot to bring her driver's license. she chose not to come back yet a third time, and start all over again.

now HER Spider is titled in my name, only....

I would say that's good Mike since you could hold it over her head but the F350 dually is in my name because Ron was out of town when I bought it. I thought I could use this as leverage against him when the need arised but he ended up using it against me when he overloaded a trailer and drove past a DMV inspection station with outdated plates and inspection sticker. It was all blamed on his ditzy wife...besides it's in her name! The trooper felt sorry for him and only ticketed him for the outdated tags and sticker.
