Injector question

Post by ga.spyder »

I am in the garage to install my new injector, that hopefully will have me back on the road!My new injector that I ordered came with no seals.I dont have any usable ones.I bought a injector seal kit at the parts store, that has various sizes. At the injector nozzle,is that a very thin o-ring or the wider ,thicker (3/16'') seal that looks, for lack of a better description, like a tire.I am pretty sure the thicker seal is correct, but I really only want to do this once!!!! I have none of the old seals anywhere and dont want to start pulling good injectors.

the nozzle uses a fairly thick o-ring. Any looseness there will cause a vacuum leak
