top door rubber

how do u get that in, door rubber is thicker then the orginal, or it was just crimped in fter it was installed, anyways i spread my chrome peice a tad to get it in then i took a screw driver and hammer to crimp it back again, there has to be a better way
any one ever change theses.

If your stretch the rubber window scraper it will thin out enough to slip into the stainless trim piece. I would not use a lubricant as the rubber will just slip out again.

I got them in, I basically open up the ridge a tad and put it in, back on the car then took a flat screw driver and hit it with a hammer to put the crease tighter again, seems to work

also a touch of yellow weatherstrip adheasive in the bottom of the channel works well too, just not too much
