"Pop" sound sometimes on deceleration...

I noticed my spider sometimes will make a "pop" sound when the car speed slows down like coming to a light or stop sign, not sure but I think it's out the carb, maybe exhaust. What could be the issue? Thanks guys.

could be a rich condition on decel but a free-flow muffler can cause the same thing

It was point gap and ignition timing on mine.
