Brake flare nut dimensions?

Anyone know the dimensions of the flare nuts used on the braking system (the nuts that attach the brake line to the brake hoses)? I tried a M10x1 but that did not fit.

If I remember corectly mine are 10mm.

For sure the head is 10m. It is specifically the threads i am having difficulty with

when i do brake lines i take one end to
bumper to bumper and they match it up for me

Joe, the previous owner completely stripped the flare nut. Why would I replace all the brake lines bumper to bumper just to replace this one little nut? And if I can't get just the right size nut, I'd have to replace the hoses to completely non-original ones and therefore the calipers too.

sorry bumper to bumper is a parts store i go there for brake problems
they have guys who know metric/standerd ,unions adapters and presure fittings
even if i have to mod some thing together its a one stop thing for me
they have the answers

Flare nut dimensions are 10 x 1.25mm. Remember you need to perform a "DIN" (also known as "bubble") flare on the tubing.
