Dashboard Vacuum Gauge

Post by bran100 »

I can't set my clock anymore and I'm thinking about replacing it with a vacuum gauge. Has anyone installed one in their dash?

Where's the best place to T the hose? I'm not sure what measurements I would be looking for yet, but I'm sure that's easily learned. Regardless, it's probably interesting to see the needle move. I'm easily entertained.

you'll need manifold vacuum, so use the port on the lower side of the manifold, near the brake booster nipple. If nothing else it should improve fuel mileage since you can lift your foot off the throttle when you see the needle drop
