Connectors
Connectors
Does anyone know if original-type crimp connectors and plugs can be purchased anywhere? I have been working on my wiring harness lately, which has included changing out some wires and shortening others, and I'd like to use the original type connectors, especially when concerning wires that fit into plugs. Unfortunately I can't find them anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Connectors
Classicricambi.com has both the plastic connector blocks and the metal male/female wire crimps.

Re: Connectors
We have the 6-prong connectors, and some of them are pre-wired, ie. come with 4" of wire.
Here's the female connector without the wires:

and the male:

Re: Connectors
I bought a kit from a vw guy on ebay who sells them. It comes with the proper crimper to install the connectors.

Re: Connectors
With the advice here I was able to find them on vintageconnections.com. They were the cheapest that I could find, so I ordered a few. Thanks for all the tips.

looks like vintageconnections.com site is down. I found these from the motorcycle community from the same era that look like the ones in the fiats.

With all the experience and support Fiat vendor's provide in the chat rooms why not buy from them. I can't name them all, but I try and purchase my new parts from Fiat parts suppliers.

This is the closest to the original match I have found. I emailed them to see if they have a US distributor but haven't heard back yet. There are some websites in Europe that will sell small quantities. I will reply with more details if I find a US source.

Zulu,
I suspect you have figured out where to buy all your connectors and crimp terminals, however I have been recently going through this exercise and have pretty much figured out where to buy almost all the original connectors and terminals. Shoot me a message if you are still interested and I can point you in the right direction including painless ordering with low shipping costs from Europe. I was surprised that I have paid as little as $7 for shipping from vendors in Europe with the parts usually showing up within the week.
