What are the causes of a radiator hose that collapses? If my reservoir was empty, could this be a cause? Thanks, Mik

your waterpump will make that happen,look for leaks,under it and in the pass side floor board.
how old are your hoses?you may want to get some new ones.
look in the tailpipe for water pull out the plugs and see if there white.

Age alone will do it. Not expensive parts. Same is true for other hoses, like vacuum lines.
