My 1972 Spider is not getting heat at all. I have the center console out and the pipes/heater valve do not get warm at all! I've gone through the coolant bleeding procedures to no avail. The lever on the center console slides easily enough (maybe too easily) and moves the heater valve arm. What usually happens when the heater valve fails? Could this be my problem? Or should I loosen the return hose from the heater to make sure I don't have a stubborn air bubble?
Thanks everyone for a Great Forum! Just hoping to make my Spider proud on the road.

Had a similar problem on mine after a long layup. Heater arm appeared to move okay but it was only the casing moving through the c clamp. Turned out the valve was seized solid internally.
