Hi Guys, I changed spark plugs and ignition wires , and now the car runs nicely and actually revs at about 800 to 1000 rpm in idle but the tachometer is reading 4000rpm......what did I do wrong/???

take your foot off the gas pedal! :mrgreen: look to see if you dislodged one of the wires going to the + side of the coil
