Zerk Fittings

Post by tartan18 »

Several questions:

1. Is there more than the one zerk fitting that is part of the drive shaft?
2. How much grease should be squeezed into the fitting (one, two or more hand pumps)?
3. Any other suspension/chassis grease points?

Thanks.

some brands of lower ball joints have zerk fittings. Other items to check the fluid level of would be the steering idler and steering gear box

all 4 bj's on my spider have a plug in the bottom to be removed, a nipple installed and greased.
