car dies

It was nice weather here in the St Louis area Friday and Saturday so I took the 82 spider for my running around trips. On Saturday I am coming home from getting parts for my wifes van when the spider dies about a 1/2 mile from home. Afther I get it home a little testing show a bad fuel pump. Not a big problem as I have a spare. I decided now was the time to replace all the rubber fuel lines and the filler hose if I was going to have to change the fuel pump. I really don't like working with gas so I decided I would get it all done at once. The filler hose was a pain it took close to 2 hours. I could use smaller hands for this car. I went ahead and looked in the gas tank while I was there and it looked OK. I got it all done and it runs fine again. I went ahead and put a filter ahead of the fuel pump while I was there. Now I just have to do the same thing to my 81 spider sometime.
