Purchased a 78 last year and have been working on it since. I wanted a driver but it turned into a bit of a restoration. Fortunatly no rust on this one but dealing with a worn drive train and suspension but all and all a clean looking car. Had a Fiat 850 coupe in high school which is how I learned to work on cars myself.

Sounds like you have a real solid car. Mechanicals can be worked out fairly inexpensively. It's the rust that'll kill ya so you're lucky. Please post pics of your car when you have a chance!
