idle issue

What are possible vacuum leaks. I have a replacement crank breather hose that is worn and cracked on both ends. Could this be considered a vacuum leak and cause an issue with the idle? Thanks.

no, but the bad breather hose will cause other issues. vacuum leaks will occur below the throttle plate

thanks Mark, I appreciate the help, it could be something as basic resetting idle screw, haven't done anything, not sure how to eliminate the possibilities, but will continue to do research.
