Mazda RX-7 seats

Post by RoyBatty »

Has anyone tried to fit seats from a 1st generation RX-7 into a 124 Spider?
I was at the local pick n pull looking for Civic seats to fit and I noticed the RX-7's of this vintage look like a real close fit.
Anyone?

I have not experimented with seats. But from what I have read on here previously. Measure the width and compare it with the stock seat, then seat hight and seat back height. let us know what your findings are!
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!

Yeah, no real help here, either. I've only read about Miata seats, and how you need to re-set the rails to fit the different width of the Miata seat.
