After being garaged for years and years my spider is up and running again.
Was able to start it after an oil change, new battery, 2 gal of fuel in the tank, and a splash of gas down the carburetor.
Psyched but will still have to put more $$$ in it than I anticipated.
Will post pictures once she is out of the shop.

Fiats don't have a much of a following in WY... how could they there aren't many people there. But they look pretty cool.
Hopefully with regular maintenance it will be a faithful car for many years. My 1991 Accord has given me 212k reliable miles so why not a Fiat?

I also have a trouble free '91 Accord which I've owned since it was new. In fact, I watched the odometer turn over 200,000 miles just this morning.
I worked with Aspen Motors this summer. They provided me a new (used) drive shaft and U joints--balanced, lubed and painted up nice. I was happy to find them. I think your car is in good hands. I'd be interested to hear about the work they end up doing for you to get your car ready for the trip home.
As you're heading north back home in your new ride, give a me a wave (to the west as you pass the Erie exit on I-25).
