Canadian 81 spider 2ooo
Canadian 81 spider 2ooo
Thanks to all for having me aboard. Have finally got around to registering and learning from true fiat fans. Had a 72 spider I sold in 1999 to help with down payment on our house. Finally bought another three years ago on september 29th ( my wifes birthday!) she had enough of my whining about how much I missed my first one. talk to you soon and greetings from Edmonton and all other frozen north fiat fans.

How come you bought an '81 instead of another '72?

Hey, thanks for the tutorial , I have to take some decent pictures now. We are having an unseasonably warm November; we usually have 3 feet of snow by middle of October so my car has been in my garage since September. I might have to push my luck and take her for runabout on saturday and take some pics. Up here they traditionally use way to much road salt so you don't see alot of mint spiders , let alone a 72. bought a 81 for reliability issues as they are at least available if you look hard enough. Plus the body was in good shape and i bought it from the 2nd owner. Has 4 year old rossa red paint matched , but the overspray and runs are painfully obvious within 3 feet. has decent curb appeal, a 20/20 car if you will. put abarth bumper blocks from bruces parts bin on an made my own brackets, not bad but at least sturdy.Talk to you soon!
