Radiator Fan

I bought a radiator from a 1976 and had a 2000 radiator in my 1976 1800 prior to this. So as I am fitting things back together I noticed the housing for the fan is larger. My question is if I buy the correct fan housing will my fan that is currently on the car fit?

Yes, the yellow fans are the same and interchange between the metal housings. I may have a housing that will fit the 1800 style rad.
