I was wondering if the lower timing belt cover is only on the 2000cc engine. Barring any unforeseen problems I will be getting a 75 spider this week, and will be replacing the timing belt this weekend. I would like to know so I can order the necessary tools for the crankshaft pulley/nut.

I've changed my timing belt a couple of times and never have had the crank pulley off. With the lower cover removed (my 82 doesn't have one) the belt can be snaked into place with a little twisting past the tight spots.
