no they are not the same,but can be interchangable. depends on which way you want to go.
you can put a efi head on a carburated engine, using 1800 manifolds, great setup
the problem is with the internal egr and check valves on the carburated 2000 head,you could plug the passages for the air injection and leave the egr passages open. and use the head, if thats all you have.
