Re: new guy
Welcome. Definitely a different experience, more a vibrant cruise than an all out road assault...
We love to see pics. Don't hesitate to ask about any problem, someone here has dealt with nearly anything you will come across. They are fundamentally simple cars and once sorted tend to be pretty low maintenance for the age.
Looking forward to seeing your car and reading your experiences.

Welcome to the forum. You got any pics of your Spider? What year is it and what kind of shape is it in? Where are you located? What kind of Porsches did you own?

Re: new guy
Welcome New Guy
You are certainly experiencing a different driving experience with the Fiat. Much, I suppose, as a ride rocket motorcyclist does when he first discovers the joy of a somewhat less adrenaline-driven ride.
As one who finds equal pleasure between high-performing Ducati motorcycles and relatively quiescent back-roading in a Spider I can understand that and look forward to your comments. And yes! Pics please!

Italian motorcycles. An Italian car. An Italian wife. What more could a man desire?

NewGuy:
I've spent my share of time burning through tires in Porsches on the racetrack: this is a whole different kind of thing.. but then you know that already!
welcome and tell us more!

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
