Hi,
I read all your suggestions on a 32ADFA converstion on my 1979, 2000. Its been a two year rebuild project and I don't know where all the hoses go. I plugged almost everything. Where does the hose from the Speed Control Valve go?
I also have the distributor advance and the hose from the top of the charcoal canister into the the throttle body. Is this correct?
I also bought a 1975 model throttle cable and bracket. It seems simpler but the stroke of the gas pedal is linited.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Greg

Send me an email. I have the 32 ADFA workbook, exploded views, and hose routing diagrams. matt.scarton@gmail.com

Thanks Matt,
The manuals helped quite a bit except there was no mention of a Crankcase Blowby port. I plugged this one also. I am a few days away before starting this restoration project.
Best regards,
Greg

Matt, I have same issue. I have a port on my 32 carb that does not have a brass tube and I don't know where its supposed to go. Will send email. Thanks

Re: Where do all the hoses go? (32ADFA soundtrack)
I am currently having such a problem finding the correct air filter for my 80 spider. For some reason, they have either a flat filter or the 9inch diameter filter listed as the correct one. The one in there is 11inch. I used the search by dimension tool on K&N's website and came up with a few possible filter suggestions. Anyone hear of using K&N's e-1200? I too have the 32 adfa and have collector tags, so I'm trying to eliminate all that I don't need for emissions. I just replaced the catalytic converter with a straight pipe. I'm going to take off the air pump from the side of the engine as well. Which hoses can I plug and which shouldn't I?

As it turns out, the e-1200 k&n filter fit fairly well, but the e-1210 was a bit taller and fits even better. Thanks go to AutoZone for letting me return and reorder. What a difference it makes with taking out the cat and putting in the k&n.

Re: Where do all the hoses go? (32ADFA soundtrack)
Me again,
The 2000 with 1600 carb conversion is working well. The 1979 restore car is running great. I still can't find out where the brake booster line goes. The brakes work fine just by blocking off the booster line.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Greg

It goes to a port on the intake manifold below the carb.

Re: Where do all the hoses go? (32ADFA soundtrack)
Hi Matt,
I tried connecting the brake booster hose to two different intake manifold ports. Either of the ports gave me a very spongy bake pedal (to the floor if I hold it) with the engine off or runnning. When I block it I get fairly decent brakes.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Greg
