Hi guys and gals,
I am getting ready to put the timing belt on my 78. The manual shows some sort of bushing that is inserted inside the belt tensioner spring. I think the previous owner lost this part before bringing me the car. Any ideas on where I can find one or what I can use as a suitable replacement?
Thanks very much

Roberto - Did you look at OFS? I'll check at my buddy's down the street. We can do the head tonight or tomorrow if you like, if you/we can find a bushing.

The bushing is 16mm OD x 8mm ID x 22.1mm long. Not sure where you can get one, I did a quick search on McMaster Carr and couldn't find one.
I might have an extra, I'll see what I can find.
