I'm happy with the stock bushings sold by the vendors. I have the after market springs from IAP and cut one coil from the rears+ KYB's G-2's.& 205/50-15 tires. Now, unlike many here, this is all I have driven, the 70 I had 30+ years ago.. I can't remember.
I'd hope some would have experience with several set-ups and offer more comparisons.

I'm pleased with my early Spider springs and yellow Konis. I also have a 1" swaybar in the front and am running 205/60/13 tires. I don't feel it has an excessively stiff ride for regular driving, but it handles great with minimal sidewall roll when I autocross it. In fact, when I have my autocross tires on, I can't even break it loose.....and I try real hard!

For my rebuild, I went with full urethane bushings front and rear, IAP performance sping kit, KYB shocks, Performance front and rear sway bars and 205/50 15 tires. I am extremely pleased with the vast improvement in handling and the ride is still compliant enough for my tastes.
