Is that legit? $200 for 5psi is super cheap. The fine print says you turn it on with a switch and only run it in short bursts. Not exactly a real supercharger then.

I don't see a spider kit. Sounds cool though. The volumex is roots type right? How much of a benefit would a switch to twin screw make?

Yep there is no spider kit but they have used it on some Alfa models so it should work, it is however only guaranteed to work on FI engines
Carbureted engines are at your own risk.

Let us know how it works. This is just a wide open throttle on or off fan, not a variable boost system like a super charger or turbo so it won't work accross the rpm range like the others. There is a reason it is so cheap and not widely used, but if it works for you, great.

Good luck with it.

Sorry, but that's going to restrict airflow, if anything.

IMO things like there are scams for ricer kids, but go ahead and try it. Maybe it does work. But it looks like plastic through and through so I doubt it will hold up well. Not to mention the spider ecu not knowing what to do with it.

i have a supercharger off a mercedies , kinda looks like an ac compressor, but with bigger inlets/outlets. ive been toying with the idea, but it only makes 6psi boost. it wont be any better than a turbo spider. which ive owned 2, not much to write about, even though the first one was much faster than the second. unless i can see 12+ psi boost im not sure its for me. i want 250+hp why not.

The performance is great!....however I can't offer a comparison to a standard Fiat spider because I've never drive one.

What I look for when I'm after a new toy is simply something that is unique or rare. The performance is really secondary, although to be unique usually means unique performance enhancement or options.
This car is soooo much fun to step on it because of the torque and the sound! It's funny how most people buy hp and are always looking for more hp...but it's torque that makes driving fun, (and of course wind in you hair)

6psi with the stock pulley. You can change them out to spin it faster.

i havent a clue!, i have not researched this compressor to see if more boost is obtainable thru overdriving it or waste gate. etc.
