mass air flow meter
mass air flow meter
Does any one know how to adjust the mass air flow meter on a '80 2000? The little cap is off on mine and I suspect that it has been monkied with. Thankx, Dave

Re: mass air flow meter
Brad Artigue has a section in the Fiat 124 maintenance and modification manual for the fuel injection system on our cars. You can download it here:

BTW, it's only semantics, but our cars don't use air mass measurement, they just use air flow, hence the unit is called an air flow meter (AFM).
If you don't get enough info from Brad's manual let us know, there are several available for download plus full L-Jetronic hard copies out there.

without an a/f ratio meter it would be tough to accurately adjust it. You could attach a voltmeter to the o2 sensor wire and use the voltage readings
