I guess I could always put a spider motor and trans in. But even as sweet as my spider motor is. The car just wouldn't have the cool factor it would have with the vintage fiat 2300 motor
Try this guy:

His name is Lenny, he's a great guy out of Sonoma County in Nor-Cal. I've gotten several pieces for my '78 resto from him and anticipate I will be buying many more. He has a barn full of bits large and small, and an uncanny ability to source rare things. Tell him I sent you.
Good luck, and what a beauty you have there!

Up date. Last night I was watching a movie " No Small Affair" 1984 Jon Cryer & Demi Moore .it had a short glimpse of a 1973 Porsche 911 T . I noticed the door Windows and frame looks exactly the the ones in my Ghia that I'm missing parts for. It has got me a little excited. So now I'm looking for a parts car that I can confirm and hopefully get parts from. So if anyone sees a parts car please keep me in mind

The 1964 Fiat Ghia restoration Has been a long and bumpy road, times I have thought maybe I need to sell to someone with more money than I. that can give her the justice she needs. others I feel I am making a little progress like today the big brown truck dropped this little goodie off. yes the stock rear bumper. and I still expecting another box next week from france, I will share when it gets here

Hey you can’t give up now the hard part finding those missing items are almost done.
I haven’t been back in your neighborhood yet so the original gearbox is still sitting around in my garage collecting dust, think the shipping will be way too expensive.
I can double check on the shipping if you want since I have no planned trips close to your neighborhood in a near future.

Check out the April 2013 issue of Collectible Automobile. There is a story on a 1955 Fiat 8V Zagato Coupe that has a similiar color combination that you have selected. This may also provide additional inspiration as you plow through your restoration.
