i'm jealous alan.... i'm going to have to wait til next winter to start building up my engine... but i guess since my car will be done, i'll need something to do anyways...

Don't be jealous, be inspired
Every day now, I think I'm at the end of my summer crunch and something pops up. While I thought I might get a full weekend working on fiat stuff... Off I go to work in the morning! Crap!!

I'M BACK!!!!!
At long last the summer crunch is nearing an end!
I managed to get this one done about 40 minutes before the owner arrived. I did end up having to take the man's Range Rover to the car wash and drop it at the airport for him so I lost time with that rubbish!
Then I got this one done...
And now I can get back to my car!!!
First thing was to pull the motor back out from under the car and install the newly (ok, a couple weeks now) modified alternator bracket and pulley.
I had to modify my top bracket as well.
Now all lines up nicely! Thanks again Pat for bringing this one to my attention!
Tomorrow will not show a lot of progress on my car as I will clear up a back log of dash work for some Fiat friends!
But, I only have one meeting on Monday morning and will spend the rest of the day with my car! So, look out, I'm back at it!!

Re: Edit... Resto mod coming together
You need to get a car hauler to Melbourne next weekend! How's that for a road trip?
Re: Edit... Resto mod coming together
It's so good to get back to my cave!!
I came up with the perfect excuse to not do dash parts... Andy is on a road trip and not answering my text
So I went about fitting my oil cooler!
I had to cut away some stuff and then weld back the seams in the cross member.
Then I spent an hour looking for the right fittings to connect hoses to the adaptor...
