Hmmm..Chrysler blue....better choice than Chevy....and a fusion, if you will, of then and now! Adds another dimension to "miscuglio", if you will.....

You guys have me second guessing...
It's been busy with school stuff as my daughters start high school on Monday so I haven't had time to decide.
I am looking for engine paint in RUTHLESS RED...

No, just kidding, I like the pan red and I like what John said...
The block color, the hood hinges, and the brake pedal... oh, and the driveshaft will be original!

Ended up having to work this morning but raced home for my therapy at noon!! I disassembled the front end and swapped out the cross members. Bolted on the steering rack and put it all back together. Happily, I was right, I was turning it too far and got worried needlessly.
Not a great picture but I end up with an inch of clearance at the tightest point.
Then I finished cleaning my block, popped out the freeze plugs and painted the thing a color that nobody mentioned
Gunmetal metallic, with clear on some bits I had taped off.
I think it will work well with the cast aluminum, polished aluminum and red bits getting attached...
Hopefully I haven't lost any friends not painting it blue or red...

Looks great! The dark gray really sets off the red powder coat.
