Well, it's kinda just bling as the adjustibility is only useful when you have height adjustible coil-overs. In that case you adjust the coilover height for corner balance, then you use the sway bar ned links to take out all preload on the bar. In this case you can still use it to adjust for no preload, so that's a bonus. They do look cool as well :)

ScotcH, and many more, know much more about the dynamics of setting up a race suspension than I do. That said, I have found that within the travel of the front suspension the angle at the end of the sway bar changes drastically to that of the lower A arm and therefore the hard mounted bushing wears accordingly. I have seen an end link set up, similar to this, on a spider in the past and it just made sense, provided an interesting challenge and yes, I love mechanical bling!!
I'm am doing it more for the fun of it than anything else. I really enjoy the challenge and the seat of my pants engineering. :D

So, one thing crossed my mind today... What about the rim clearance?

I thought it best to get one on and see where I screwed up. Everything seemed fine until the suspension is fulling loaded in a hard corner. Then

I have decided that, before I take it all apart again, I will swap my other cross member with the steering rack in and see if I am turning it further than it will actually go.

The other direction, no problem.

Either way, it sure is great to see a wheel on the front of this car after 18 months!!!

Also picked this up today,

Freshly bored for these :D

Rings from total seal are still about a week out, but I have paint!!!

i actually prefer the light grey that fiat paints the blocks. it shows any signs of leakage. plus all the other parts contrast against that real well

Seriously Andy?
I know, your humor is as seriously twisted as mine! Sky blue is not my preferred engine block color so...NO

I did start prepping for paint

And then these showed up in the post

So I dropped everything and slapped a bracket on to see how they work

Nice fit, easy install, fast shipping, Greg at Mark's place is a pleasure to deal with, and they look HOT!!
I'm all smiles at the moment!!

Oh, I dunno. A nice shade of Chevy shortblock blue? With all the red and white, Alan could be his own color guard. 'Course, we'd all have to salute every time he opened the hood.....

Go with the gray. That way you can say at least one thing on the car is original!
