Love the dash work, very clean and classy.

As much as I love burl and highly figured grain, I think they tend to look to busy and compete with the gauges.

You hit it spot on with the straight grained stock.

Thanks all, Now that its done, I will have to take some more pictures. Awaiting my sons' return next month so I can have a couple of extra hands to install the new top

Dave, the dash itself came from Csaba and Ramzi. It is the molded rubberized one. Not cheap but very nice. The wooden part of the dash I made myself from a piece of solid mahogany. Also bought the center square plastic chrome piece since I was going with the plastic chrome gauge rings. It comes all chrome, so I painted the center horizontal stripe to match the old one. Just haven figured out how to add the nice lettering text identifiers to it yet. (Remove key, brakes, hazard light) .
