Oh, I think you got a deal. I've seen the same quality of car listed in the Auto Trader in ON for $12-15K. Brag!

love2longboard wrote:Hi! I'm new on-line today. I have been bidding and looking for about two months and I came across this site. It's a great source of info. I had a '74 Spider (Hunter green/tan) when I was 19 and I have missed it ever since selling it. I am looking at an '84 Black/tan this weekend and then will be looking at an '82 green(smoke grey according to Fiat)/tan on Monday. Both cars are one owner only and seem to be in good shape.
What year did Fiat start putting in the plastic inserts into the fenders/doors to help delay rusting?
Thanks,
Bruce
Maybe 79? I don't know if it actually helped slow the rust process or just hid it better. Good luck on your find!

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.
