If you want to post a picture in a message, it doesn't go in your profile, you just "paste" it into your message as you compose it.
The avatar (little pictures with our signature) is added to your profile. There is an option in your profile for adding it. To use a picture as an avatar it has to be sized correctly and it's been a while so I forget what size that is. Anyone?
I'm not seeing where you have any pictures posted yet.

OK, I see it. I was looking for a picture, and you have the link to the picture posted. It's a very pretty car.
Thanks for giving us a peek.

So Cal Mark wrote:welcome, we'll be glad to answer any questions you have about your Spider. The northwest is a pretty active area for Fiats, so you should be able to find some fairly local owners for drives, get-togethers, etc
Sorry Mark for not responding to your invite ..thanks for having me ,, Lots to learn and I admit I didn't read every thing before joining and still learning so if you dont mind I would like to ask you some things.

Question : Is this whole Fiat forum split up into many small groups and I am in the group where you are the administator?
And were you a member like me and decided to take on the roll of administrator? I am fine with just being part of this forum and group and have no ambitions to be administrator so just to let you know .

One last Question: Am I permitted to post a picture of my car to the left of my posts and if so How do I do so because I tried useing down sizing and it said it was still to large .

My son has a couple 124's and we plan on taking a road trip in September and now that I have a fiat 124 I spot others but not too many in my area . papa

the forum is one large group. This format does permit groups but that hasn't been utilized.
I was just a member, and took on the role of moderator when the site owner became saddled with time constraints that prevented from daily participation. I just wanted to make sure this forum continued, so I made a proposal to the owner and he and I agreed to a set of guidelines.
You are permitted to post an avatar to the left.

size the avatar to 80 x 80 pixels and try again. If you still can't load it, try sending the url to me and I'll see what I can do. I reset your avatar control

Papa, I thought you'd enjoy seeing a better picture of my car than shows in my avatar. I think you might see a few similarities between ours. Mine also had a tan top when I got it, but it was in pretty sad shape. It came with a new black top that I installed, so other than that they're pretty close. Does yours have the padded console?

Ron, you owe me a new monitor. I'm posting this from my smartphone because my computer has a shoe stuck in the LCD screen.

You're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy.
To type: "cover thumbnail with cursor and left click the mouse to view full size image" takes too much work for us oldies!

No, mine has a hard console and it is cracked some so I bought a cap to put on it and will do so in a week or so. Yes they look enough alike to be brothers or sisters ,, So now you have a black top and tan interior? papa

Yes the combination sounds strange, but I've seen it on others and it's kind of nice. I've gotten where I like the look of the black top with the tan interior. It's got that three tone thing going on. I don't have many pictures of it with the top up, but here's one when I was getting ready to go up to the Oregon '08 campout. That's a whole nother story though.
