I don't know if this will be of any help, but this is how my Lada was and is wired up, and works fine.

Re: Ignition Switch problem?
Yes, thank you. The Lada sw. I removed had no connection on the "Int" terminal. That leads me to believe the "Int" connections can not be used with the Lada switch.

Re: Ignition Switch problem?
Somewhat successful. Replaced Ign. sw. this morning. Car started a couple times then it wouldn't. Wiggled the connector behind new sw. and had intermittent contacts. Unplugged connector, cleaned both male and female inserts as best I could. Still had intermittent starting issues. While cranking I wiggled, pushed, pulled connector / harness and started would disengage sometimes. Separated connector and dabbed / rubbed a tiny bit of copper powder anti-sieze (all I had to try) on both sides of male prongs. Started up 12x in a row so went for a 1/2 hr ride. Also started when I got back home 4x in a row.
Now my confidence is building but I have a question. About 1/2 the time I start it, turning key all the way to the right stop, engine turns over but doesn't start until I back off the right stop, keep letting key turn to the left (counter-clockwise) and just before switch internals are about to come off contact, engine fires right up.
Is this common or do I still have a problem?

Re: Ignition Switch problem?
I had similar issues, and it was the white wires coming out of the Sipea ignition switch.
Replaced with a Lada, followed the diagram above and added the ignition relays to take the load off and it's been fine for the past 3 years.
The only problem I have are the pink wires going into one terminal - haven't been able to crimp them tight enough.

Re: Ignition Switch problem?
Thank you,
Going to revisit this today, clean connectors again, see if I can pinch the females a little ...Lol as they seem a little loose ...sorry, and try a smidge of dialectric grease I just acquired on ea. male tab.
Also need to make sure none of the individual connectors back out of plastic box as I press together. I had to pull a few of these and slightly pry up the tiny locking tab that keeps them in place.
