bran, all you have to do is remove the drive gear from the aux shaft, below the plug for the block mounted distributor, then you can drive the oil pump directly. i have a old drive gear that i cut off and welded to a 1/4" extension, then i just use a drill. but im sure another solution could be found to drive the pump from that loction
