Starter Not Cranking

My car is just getting on the road after a close to 8 year slow restoration effort. As a result I have a few parts I purchased years ago that were either never installed or swapped out for something else.

If you determine you need a new starter then I would highly recommend Mark's Gear Reduction starter.

If you determine that the solenoid is the problem, I have a brand new one that you are welcome to have. I purchased it years ago when I was trying to figure out a problem I was having. I also have a lightly used starter that was only installed a few months (possibly never even run) before I decided to go with the Gear Reduction starter. I would sell the starter for $100.

I am across from the organic garden in Greenlawn so we must be practically neighbors. What color is your Spider and I will keep an eye out for it. Mine is an '81, blue, with a tan interior. With no roof yet it has only been out of the garage a few times when there was 100% chance of no rain.

Thanks. I will keep you posted on the need for parts. We are practically neighbors, I am a few blocks past the library heading north. My car is a dark blue 1980 Spider with tan interior.
