exhaust manifold analysis paralysis

What kind of 2-1 exhaust pipes are there? I have a 4-2 manifold with ERG port but have not been able to find a 2-1 downpipe that sweeps under the passanger's side to the CAT.

2-1 with EGR is 79 only. Not really all that common, the most typical is 2-1 for the CS2 (79/80) Spider.

Well I went with a '78 4-2 with a '74 2-1. That has left the EGR port(?) open that was covered by the 6-bolt 4-1 manifold.

Question - will it cause problems if that port is left unblocked?

Question - how have others blocked that port/hole?
