Expert advice needed
Re: Expert advice needed
Last night I got the timing set, and I adjusted the idle on my dual IDF's...and MAN, she purrs nicely!
I put 50 'gentle' miles on her last night, around the 'hood. She's BACK, baby!
I even drove 'er to work today!
Grining like an idiot

Lee,
Glad to see The Beast is back on the road!
Just make sure you don't neglect the Great White Wagon now

Last night The Beast made it's first appearance out at The Dip since late March.
...and as many predicted, THIS happened on the way home:
Fortunately, my Valentine One gave me enough warning that I didn't get nabbed for speeding! But he was on my butt for over 5 miles (looking up my plates & reviewing my extensive record, I'm sure), and he was VERY interested in where I'd been & where I was going (perhaps checking my proper use of Antique playes?). Ended up with just a warning ticket for having a tail light out (which Max & I had noted at The Dip!). Yeesh! 140 miles on 'er, and I'm ALREADY in trouble!
This morning I had a co-pilot:
Clyde does NOT like riding in The Beast - the loud grumbly exhaust freaks him out
