Ok - I have my carbs out to my very skilled cousin (certified airplane mechanic) to rebuild.
Question: I have an electronic ignition pulled from a later model Fiat (Brava I think) that uses a vacuum advance. Will I still be able to use this distributor with a dual carb set up? Do the carbs typically have a place to hook up the vacuum?
Thanks.

There's a vacuum port on the first carb. Some people say the vacuum needs to be pulled above the butterflies and some people say it doesn't matter. I just plugged the port with a rubber nipple (pictured) and disconnected my vacuum advance and just don't fool with it.

if you're not going to use the vacuum advance, you need to modify the centrifigul weights for more advance
