AAV question

With the AAV off the car and warm, the sliding disk looks closed. But I can blow air through it (by mouth). Is this normal? Or should the AAV block all air when closed? I does open up a little (5-10%) when cold from being in the freezer.

Never mind. I researched it. Apparently they don't always close 100%, even if adjusted.
