thank you, no pics of the car yet its been in the garage for the past 10 or so years with a no start issue, just started looking into it. believe its the points switch over relay so im going to run it on a mod i found on International Auto Parts to run it one set of points, then need to do the brakes after that well have some pictures up, located out of Massachusetts.

Ryan,
Welcome. It is typically suggested that you change a lot of the rubber parts after 10 yrs of sitting, particularly the timing belt.

Not too far from me, just down 128 a few miles. My car is put away for the winter but in the spring when the snow and salt are gone, I'd like to come see it. I used to have a '70.

Welcome!Does the motor turn freely? If so you are in good shape! You can convert the points into electronic, or just get an electronic dizzy from a later car.
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!

it does spin freely i actually got it running the past few days, the points change over relay was bad i converted it to 1 set of points and it fired on the key hit runs well just need to time it do the brakes and get some tires and finish the tune up and it will be coming out of the garage in the spring, and yea once shes road worthy sure you can come see
