Carb tear down -NO JETS!

Post by KalamazooJohnny »

I got a carburetor in a bunch of parts that I bought and since I know nothing about carbs, decided to tear down and rebuild one just for learning purposes and possible to use as a replacement when I need one. I took closeup photos as best I could to document each step of the teardown as I went through it. To my surprise, it looks like I was not the first to do this as I found out that it was missing the primary and secondary air jets. The main jets are there, but I don't know what size they are. I ended up with 47 ok looking photos of the teardown, but now I have a question. Where can I get these 2 jets, and what size should I get? The number on the side of the carb is 34 ADF 15 150 4H. What do these numbers mean? Help would be appreciated. I will try to link to a photo.

You could try posting in the parts wanted section or go to http://www.piercemanifolds.com/ where I get my Weber carb parts.

Hi
I have extra air jets. If you tell me the number I'll check.
