I currently have a very old KYS AK 15-12 inline fuel filter from W. Germany that I need to replace. It looks identical to the FRAM g6399 below.
Here are other in-line filters that I have read that others are using:
Fram G6399
Napa Gold 3299
Audi Part Number 811201511D
WIX 33278 (Seems to be obsolete)
I've also seen the Purolator F21111 mentioned, but it doesn't have the larger 1/2" input and output. It is smaller and will not fit my hoses.
I have a secure, protected mount in the trunk for it. What are you using for an inline pre-fuel pump gas filter?
Any other recommendations that are 1/2 in and out?
Thanks!

Re: Pre-Fuel Pump Inline Gas Filter
It might just be me, but I don't use plastic filters. I feel safer with metal. Of course, mine's in the engine bay since the car's carbed.

Re: Pre-Fuel Pump Inline Gas Filter
I use he Napa Gold 3299 as a pre filter. No problems. I mounted the filter above the rear axle. I'm pretty sure Napa Gold 3299 is WIX?
