Ok simple question. I was dropping off my rotating assembly for balancing today and I asked him if he would put the pistons on the rods for me and he said he could not tell which way to put the pistons on. So I pulled out my photobucket account and looked at the pics. I see that with the motor turned upside down that the 4 stamped on the #4 Rod end is the right side up. May I assume that this is correct on all the rods. I do not want to rely on my feeble memory for this lol!

Sorry, can't help. Mine were actually stamped on both the rod and the cap, at the parting-line, on the (would be lower-side, in your pic) left-side of the motor.
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

You probably have figured it out by now... but just in case. I just opened mine:

In my engine, all stamps in the rods were facing towards the left (looking at the engine from the front pulley). Use the oil pump as reference since top photo is with the engine upside down...
