Hello

Post by todd900ss »

New member saying hello from Atlanta.
I do not own a Spider but have been looking around at whats avalable & pricing.

Are the later 83-85 cars as desireable as the early models?

Thanks in advance.

welcome, all spiders are great ! I thing the only Differences are these
1.old style bumpers (beautiful )
2.new style bumpers (tubed )
3. bumperless (perfect ! )

(note may say engine size and carberated,Fuel inected, turbo, but really what is one of the first things you see?)

I do love the bumperless look.
There is a 83 local to me forsale, but I like the early cars the best with the small chrome bumpers.

83's are great for their driveability. The early ones are getting harder to find. What kind of shape is the one you're looking at? Btw, welcome to the forum!

When you get your Spider, give me a holler and I'll send you info for the next Dixie Fiatfest. We have a great time with our cars.

Hey Todd,

Here''s my advice. Take your time and look around, the one you want is out there, you just have to find it.

Don't be afraid to consider one from somewhere else, you'll be suprised to find that shipping a car isn't that big a deal.

Paying a premium for a no rust car will be cheaper by multiples in the long run.
